Indy Cloth Doll Challenge

Every year the Indy Cloth Dollmakers presents a challenge to the members which is due at our October meeting. The challenge dolls are judged by an independent judge and prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The dolls are also displayed during our annual November Show and Sale and people vote on their favorite. This year we chose a fabric and the challenge is to use this fabric as part of the doll. The fabric is quite big, bright and bold. It will be very interesting to see what our members create using this fabric since most of the time our dolls are 20 inches tall or less!! Since many of the floral motifs in the fabric are 3 - 5 inches in diameter, the scale is challenging. Here is a picture of the print--just to give you an idea of the relative size we have placed a quarter on the fabric for comparison. I can't wait to see the creations! Please come to our 9th Annual Show and Sale on Saturday November 19th and vote for your favorite creation.
